In 2007 IC12 designed and developed in conjunction with the AIPP
(Australian Institute of Professional Photography) the APPA
competition judging system. The APPA judging system is a world's
best leading system for judging traditional print mounted
competitions. IC12 support and manage the National APPA
competition as well as 3 of the Australian State events.
From building such a strong understanding and working knowledge
of competitions and the photographic industry IC12 launched the
International Aperture Awards in 2008 to great success. Our
continuing goal is to grow the competition into the worlds largest
and most prestigious online competition.
In 2009 IC12 designed and developed Pro Feedback, an online
image critiquing and training site. Pro Feedback is aimed directly at
the high end professional and the photographic education market.
The implementation of Pro feedback into national and international
Photographic Schools and Photographic Institutions is ongoing.
Creative Asia is a photographic membership organisation focused on nurturing and educating photographers and showcasing Asian photography to the rest of the world.
Creative Asia's goal is to nurture and educate through education and training programs to all parts of Asia. Upcoming events are the Annual Creative Asia Confernece and Photography Awards which will be hosted in Hong Kong.
The Creative Asia Conference is a fantastic opportunity to learn from some amazing photographers and educators on a range of topics related to being a photographer and running a photography business.
