IC12 has its roots as the web development arm of leading corporate ISP, Access One. Access One was sold to Ozemail and later WorldCom in the late ‘90s. Its focus was on providing solutions for large corporate clients including Australia Post, National Australia Bank and others.

Web development for corporate clients was not a focus of WorldCom and the team created IC12 to service the needs of their existing customers and to develop new applications for clients with the need to empower employees to update their Internet and Intranet sites rapidly and without significant training regimes. As a result the team developed an online learning solution known as “eStream”. eStream became an integral part of many corporate Intranets and for client training regimes.
